Pascali’s Island – Movie, 1988 based on the novel by Barry Unsworth

The Day of the Siege: September Eleven 1683 – Movie, 2012, detailing the events of the second Ottoman sieges of Vienna.

Fetih 1453 – Movie, 2012, detailing the capture of Constantinople by Mehmed II.

Vreme na Nasilie (Time of Violence) – Bulgarian movie, 1987-88, set in mid-16th century focusing on the Ottoman-Bulgarian conflicts in a small region of Bulgaria.

Dark Prince: The True Story of Dracula – US movie, made in 2000, story follows Vlad the Impaler from boyhood to man and emphasizes his time spent among the Turks as a boy, his brother’s conversion and the subsequent bad relations and the constant wars against the Ottomans that Vlad was engaged in.
